IFB Hamburg relies on CoreMedia for modern website
Optimized workflows and improved usability with CoreMedia 12.
The Hamburgische Investitions- und Förderbank (IFB Hamburg) is the central point of contact for public funding in the Hanseatic city—from housing subsidies to economic and innovation promotion to support for environmental and energy measures. The website serves as a central information and service platform for private individuals, companies, and institutions.
In order to make the website fit for the future, IFB Hamburg put out a tender for a modernization project at the end of 2024 – with the aim of making the website more user-friendly, strengthening its technical basis, and making it completely accessible. Monday Consulting won the tender and took on the design and development of the new solution in the CoreMedia Cloud.
The core of the project is a newly developed, component-based front end based on Atomic Design, a standard in modern web development with which Monday Consulting already has extensive experience. This enables flexible maintenance, reuse, and rapid adaptation of content. With the user-friendly interface, an integrated preview function and time-controlled publications, editors now benefit from significantly more efficient processes. At the same time, the website meets current digital accessibility requirements.
“With the migration of our website, we have taken a decisive step toward a modern, service-oriented platform. Working with Monday Consulting has been a great benefit for us and has created the basis for long-term further development.”
Hannah Goldmann, Press and Public Relations Officer at IFB Hamburg.
The successful relaunch is just the beginning: Over the coming months, the website will be continually developed further—with new content, services, and optimized workflows for even greater user-friendliness and more efficient editorial processes.
